Gardens designed to work and feel right
Each project here shows how I guide clients through a considered design process, addressing not just practical and functional needs, but also the way a space supports their mental and physical wellbeing. Explore the spaces I’ve created and see how thoughtful design can transform an outdoor space.
A layered, thoughtful mountainside planting scheme
This project focuses on creating structure, texture, and seasonal interest through carefully chosen perennials and shrubs. Every plant has been selected not just for its aesthetic, but for how it contributes to a calm, balanced, and functional outdoor space that supports wellbeing.
Structured planting around a tranquil pool
This design combines structure, privacy and practicality. Plants were carefully selected to create a calm, balanced garden that works beautifully for both function and feeling. The planting is layered for seasonal interest, texture, and visual harmony, supporting how the space is used while enhancing enjoyment and memory making.
Inner City privacy without feeling enclosed.
Soft, layered planting gently filters views while keeping the space light and open, with a palette that complements the art deco lines of the house. A raised edible bed near the kitchen brings the garden into everyday life, making the space feel both practical and quietly restorative.
Peaceful, playful, and alive in every season.
A calm, sensory sanctuary designed as a true extension of home. For grounding, gathering, and gentle joy. Naturalistic and softly structured, it balances wild planting with intentional form, weaving lavender, herbs, fruit and seasonal colour through layered greenery. With spaces to sit, read and host, and planting that supports wildlife.
